The FSSA Educational Foundation awards scholarships annually to qualified students studying fire protection at accredited colleges, universities or technical institutes. Last year the foundation awarded $30,000 in scholarships to worthy individuals. Applicants for the 2026 – 2027 academic year must submit their applications not later than June 1, 2026. Scholarship candidates must have graduated from high school as of or before June 2026 and be planning to study fire protection in college.
The FSSA Educational Foundation scholarship fund is supported by contributions from industry, business groups, and individuals. Contributions, which are 100% tax-deductible, are accepted at any time and in any amount. Single contributions of $25,000 or more will be honored by an annual scholarship named after the contributor.
