At its December meeting, the NFPA Standards Council appointed Jessica Hubert the Chair of NFPA’s Gaseous Fire Extinguishing systems technical committee. Jessica will replace Brent Ehmke who has completed his term as GFE TC Chair. The GFE technical committee is resposible for the Standards on Carbon Dioxide (NFPA 12), Halon 1301 (NFPA 12A), and Clean Agent (NFPA 2001). Jessica is a member of several NFPA technical committees including the Gaseous Fire Extinguishment Systems, Cross Functional Emergency Preparedness and Response, Building Fire and Life Safety Directors, and Electronic Computer Systems committee. She has recently completed her tenure as Chair of NFPA’s Disability Access Review and Advisory Committee (DARAC). Congratulations to Jessica!
