During the October board meeting of the Fire Suppression Systems Association, Tom Wysocki announced his intent to step down from his position as Technical Director effective November 1. Tom has served as Technical Director of the FSSA for the past 21 years.
Tom noted that he was honored to have worked with the members of the FSSA, who are among the best professionals in the fire protection industry. But he feels that now is the time for the FSSA to engage a new Technical Director who can work with the association for the coming years.
Today, October 30, 2025, the FSSA announced that it is beginning a formal search for a new Technical Director. Details are available on the FSSA website. Applications are due by December 2, 2025.
While the FSSA searches for a permanent replacement for Wysocki, Jessica Hubert will serve as interim technical director.
