The FSSA Educational Foundation awards scholarships annually to qualified students studying fire protection at accredited colleges, universities or technical institutes. Last year the foundation awarded $30,000 in scholarships to worthy individuals. The June 1 deadline for the 2026 – 2027 academic year applications has past. Applications for the 2027 – 2028 academic year will be available in late 2026 or early 2027. Check the FSSA Educational Foundation web page for details.
The FSSA Educational Foundation scholarship fund is supported by contributions from industry, business groups, and individuals. Contributions, which are 100% tax-deductible, are accepted at any time and in any amount. Single contributions of $25,000 or more will be honored by an annual scholarship named after the contributor.
